About us(the spiel)
We are not government officials nor the cast of House of Cards
At Foreign Policy, we create story-driven brand identities that stand out from tired cliches.
We’re an award-winning design and innovation consultancy that knows the world is much larger than pixels, and that great design is much more than good looks – it’s the key to good business.
We can’t do magic, but we can do wonder
We believe in better business, through design – whether that’s brand identity and strategy, book and product design, interior design and wayfinding, websites and digital marketing, or everything in between.
We also produce scones and bibimbap occasionally, and work on EDG projects from time to time. If you have a business challenge (that we’ll turn into a creative brief), get in touch!

Founding partner and creative director Yah-leng had a dream about news typography and woke up remembering the words “Foreign Policy”. What to name the practice then became a straightforward decision: “It made absolute sense and gelled perfectly with our philosophy to look outwards and engage in a broader dialogue with creatives from around the world, never settling for a static point-of-view.”
